Cheyenne Laramie County Public Health is offering in-person childbirth classes for pregnant people in Laramie County and Cheyenne. Classes started in the fall of 2024.

Childbirth classes are offered monthly and are a three-class series. Topics include labor, delivery, post-delivery care, breastfeeding, and early newborn care. Classes are no cost to Cheyenne OBGYN and Cheyenne Women’s Clinic patients thanks to sponsorships. The cost is $20, which covers the cost of materials, for patients of other providers.

“So much is changing with your body during pregnancy and those early postpartum days. It can be a scary time, especially for first time moms. We want to provide you with knowledge, so you can start your new life – with baby or babies – empowered and confident.” said Maternal Child Health Nurse, Amanda Moore, RN.

Classes take place at Cheyenne Laramie County Public Health, located at 100 Central Avenue in Cheyenne. To see more information on the upcoming class schedule visit the CLCPH events page here.
