Community Health Reports

Downtown Cheyenne

Cheyenne Laramie County Public Health, Laramie County Community Partnership, and community partners have developed a Community Health Needs Assessment and Community Health Improvement Plan for Laramie County for the years 2025-2028.

Many people think of health as doctor visits and medication, but your overall health is larger than that. What you eat, where you live, how much education you receive, and so many other factors impact how healthy you are.

The Health Needs Assessment provides data on the overall health of the community and identifies areas of concern. The Community Health Improvement Plan addresses the biggest hurdles in health, providing goals and strategies for improvement.

The process started in the late 1990’s, with plans being updated every three years. Through these plans, programs, initiatives, and task forces have been created to protect, promote, and enhance community health for everyone in Laramie County.
