Swimming Pools

Through the Swimming Pools program, Environmental Health specialists conduct inspections to ensure recreational water facilities in which the public swims meet minimum standards for health and safety. (You can see the results of recent inspections here.)

Swimming Pool Application

All pools and spas in Wyoming are required to have a Certified Pool Operator (CPO) to oversee the operation of their licensed facility. Any pool that allows a portion of the public to use the pool must obtain a license after the construction of the pool is approved through the plan review process.
